I've spent a good 30-50 mins now trying to figure out how to get my bot client to mirror my runescape client but it won't attach itself.  

is it because my account is attached to the new jagex shit?

oh I've been trying to get it to attach to the runelite version lol... no wonder it'll get stuck trying to "search for a client to attach" itself onto.
