In general I wanted to start with free scripts till I found my methods.

The first would be to get all of my accounts to the requirements needed to do some of the different higher money task.

In that time, I have never botted, so I don't know which scripts are better from them all. But I would us a combat script also skilling.

My question is which ones are great for the starter?

Personally speaking if you're interested in "free" scripts, I would purchase script factory. It's a community built script repo with a lot of free scripts on there. The only downside to using free scripts is in theory they're easier to profile due to a large amount of people using them vs paid scripts.

Do what works best for you, play around. I personally would recommend buying some scripts as they're maintained, any issues the authors will help. some of the free scripts are dated, don't work or have a lot of users using them.

I'm pretty new to botting, the only successes i've had so far are small sized suicide f2p bot farms and more recently a p2p farm. even with the suiciding farm, using free scripts got me banned about 6-8 times faster consistently.

But as it was explained to me by a few people i've talked to, (maybe speculative) there are multiple "flags" accounts can have put on them that will give jagex cause to ban it. as mentioned above, in theory free scripts are easier to profile or "flag". i would say you can get away with spending a pretty low amount of money, i'd probably recommend VIP as a starting point as it gives you access to a few more scripts and some other stuff and try to maintain that monthly payment through botting

Like I mentioned above I decided to go a different route and purchased a few scripts. Your comment was helpful.
