September 24, 201312 yr Ok guys I am completely retarded, because I don't know how to ship things that aren't books or envelops. I am shipping vintage half-pint milk bottles. I have never sold anything on Ebay, because I don't know how much to put for shipping. I want the lowest price possible for shipping, and I don't have a scale to weigh them, should I start off by getting a scale? Also, should I just buy small boxes at the store or just order some free ones from USPS and do standard rate box shipping? I have over 500 of these milk bottles and I need to get rid of them! Edited September 24, 201312 yr by monsieur kam
September 24, 201312 yr Well, I don't know about the shipping part, but go to any supermarket and ask them if they have any empty boxes in the back. I did that awhile ago when I was helping someone move and the happily gave me a bunch of empty produce boxes. You get them for free and don't need to wait for them to be shipped to you.
September 24, 201312 yr https://www.usps.com/ship/priority-mail-flat.htm its free. buy a bundle of these. Receive them in the mail. These are flat rate boxes, so how much it weighs doesn't apply. Then list on ebay. When you list, make sure you put what flat rate box your using. Then, Once payed, you will able to download the shipping label via ebay. Paste it on your box, out everything you need in that box, and drop it off at a post office. If its under 1lbs you can give it to your mailman and he can do it for you. Hope this helps!
September 24, 201312 yr rule 1 GET A SCALE!!!!! you have to know how much your items weight when you ship mate. have lots of shipping boxes diff sizes bubble wrap, shipping tape etc. make sure to double box stuff for extra protection
September 25, 201312 yr If you bring the things you wanna ship to the post office they'll help you package the box and give you a price quote.
