Why have the 07 gold rates dropped so much?

 

 

well there is 80% bots and maybe 10 real players, other 10 are just afk

On 4 January 2022 Jagex removed the duel arena which drove a lot of the RWT of RuneScape gold. Less buyers = less demand = lower prices to sell more volume. Most sellers only make profit on volume so they'd rather sell a lot of gold for a low price than very little gold at a high price. Here is a chart of the last 360 days without the duel arena driving the market.

Plus it is summer time, so the prices goes down cause not that many players play over the summer

Back to back Prime events, should stabilize to normal average prices in due time

There have been minimal bans accross all botting platforms, which caused an overflow of gp.

nearly all of my accounts were banned a few weeks ago

Bans started again with more frequency about 2 weeks ago but bots went on for months with minimal bans.
