Really need some help! I think my pc has been ratted!

Featured Replies

I think my pc has been ratted as someone has messaged me ingame on runecsape about a video on my desktop that only I have access to, they know a lot about me and are talking really wierdly, I need someone trusted to scan my computer for anything that might be a virus!

Go to your regedit.exe

Go to this directory: http://prntscr.com/1sq2yn

Once you are there, look for any suspicious programs. If there is something you don't normally see there, you are probably ratted.

Go to your msconfig

From there go into 'Startup' look for anything suspicious again.

If you saw anything suspicious that you didn't download you are probably ratted. I might be able to help you a bit further.

Turn the internet off of that computer to make sure the hacker has no access to the computer or anything you say and try logging into osbot from another computer and tell us what you do

quicker transfer your rare name to me before its stolen.

If you have no knowledge of virus removal, contact a computer diagnosis professional to fix your desktop.

no matter what, don't run a virus scan. it's pointless.

FUD files don't stay FUD forever...

you constantly keep crypting it and then re doing the server to the bot then yes it will be fud for a long time

Thanks I think the issue has been resolved. Whats a quick way to find the programs that are currently running?

open up task manager and go to the file location of any suspicious processes running.

Control + Alt + Delete

I'd also suggest running malware bytes and a boot system scan on your computer. If you are sure its a rat I can try to remove it for you.

Best way to be 100% safe is to just reformat your computer.

I dont think he wants to do that lol.

Re-install windows if you don't have to much to install/download. Only takes 2 hour or so. I re-install windows every month :P
