32 GB RAM botting computer. HELP!

Featured Replies

Hi,

All I know is that I want my computer to have 32 GB of RAM. As for CPU, power supply ect, I have no clue what to get!

If anyone could help me that would be very much apreciated! My skype is "Stolenlogic" if you would prefer to talk on there.

Thanks!

Matt

Dude, you need at least 128gb of RAM to run any game

Even this is not funny man.

What?

Don't listen to that guy.

Okay for CPU I would recommend the i7 4770k. PSU, go with a 700W 80+ Gold or Bronze standard PSU like the Corsair GS700.

Running 30 osbot clients doesn't even go over 6gbs of ram.

Buy a hexacore processor, either the 3930k or phenom x6.

Ok, isn't there other stuff I need for a computer too though?

I accepted your Skype request, it says your offline?

Yes it does. I'm running 18 bots right now and using around 6gb of ram on a linux machine. 32 gb is a crap tonne of ram though

That's amazing dude. I can't run more than 8 bots on my 8 GB RAM labtop until it starts lagging like crazy. Do you run them all on one client?

You should give us a price range first, then we can find the best build for your budget.

Best to have the conversation on here bs Skype so everyone can critique each other.

It's your processor that's the issue not the ram. I run 1 account per client.

On my second computer which has an i5 processor and 6 gigs of ram I can run 20 accounts at 20-40fps.

No computer needs 32 GB RAM so you're stupid.

On top of this... you will need to check to see if your OS actually utilizes the RAM... if it doesn't then you are more stupid.
On top of this... don't connect all those from the same IP address...

Man, I should start running multiple clients. I'm only using 4 to run all my bots, tabs must be wasting tonnes of ram

I use to use VPN's and VPS's but I kept getting all them banned because of flagged server nodes(gold farming perma bans).

Only after I started using my home IP that the bans toned down and the only time I've ever been IP banned was 3 months ago, but I've been solidly botting 30-45 accounts ever since. Just takes a change of IP address.

Actually, using more clients should be using more ram, I've got no idea how it isn't for you :P But I realized that I've had alot of tabs that I had to close, and it was causing my clients to use more and more memory. I restarted all my bots and I'm running 18 of them with around 5gb of ram. About 600 of it is going towards OS and other programs
