OSBOT unsafe?

Featured Replies

I've never been "hacked". Download AVG 2013, its free and should do the trick. Another helpful download is Malwarebytes, GL.

dont use free or lite shit, use paid for scripts or free scripts from the more known developers.

Anti viruses don't do shit m8

This kind of stuff happens all the time I've found from experience that it is usually a 'friend' or some skype contact. I think you would be surprised how sneaky some people are.

Im honestly just exploring/informing you of the possibility of osbot being compromised

This would only be possible if you made a mistake, by either getting keylogged/RAT'ed or entering your password somewhere else. If you were RAT'ed my guess would be that he goes to the OSbot folder though his PC and copies your folder to his PC, (including the crypted saved characters) which would result in that when he starts up OSbot all of your saved account details will show up on his account.. Either way, you're the one to blame.

It's not the osbot client that's hacked you, but it's perfectly possible that:

A. You were keylogged.

B. You have some sort of virus/RAT that's grabbing the data stored locally by OSBot (seen as it's not even encrypted), and sending it to the developer.

Have you regained access to any of your accounts? Take a pic of the last IP log. OSBot client stores your info to your local machine. Your login will never be uploaded anywhere else unless somebody hacks this website and replaces the download link with an infected version.

Just 1 piece of advice though buddy,

NEVER GO FULL............

Came free with my brand new AlienWare, and i know the last login IP

95.141.31.7

but it's a  VPN in Milan, itally

See, Alienware is your problem. Bad brand = Karma for not buying from a good brand.

You have the Alienware karma.

On topic: like a member said above, if you're worried about malicious code then only download scripts from highly respected script writers.

when the person was on my obby mauler he traded a person call "xoexoex" if anybody know this person please IM me

Yup I got hacked yesterday and got my account locked. I e-mailed Jagex and they perm banned me because they saw that I had macroed. RIP lvl 124

Today 2 of my accs got hacked im not sure how but im pretty sure it relates to someone back dooring osbot and accessing IP's

or login folders. im not putting the blame on osbot staff but it seriously needs to be looked into. 2 accs in 1 day adding to 50m+

needless to say im pissed my virus protection found nothing!

admins feel free to pm me and i'll discuss what happened.

p.s. sorry for bad grammar/punctuation im pissed off

I litterally got knocked offline, then went to log on to find that my account was logged on in world 1. Went to varrock found him, he teled when i started trolling. And proceeded to have a 15 minute conversation with me about login folders, using a back door to get in, and told me the bot i was using off the top. He practically preached about some back door. He said... "Everytime someone logs in it sends my friend a folder and me and a few other people go through them." You do use osbot don't you (: "

I am willing to bet that someone using your computer has downloaded something from a link in the YouTube description. I am willing to bet that had a malware binded to it. I suggest you download an AV and Malwarebytes and do a full system scan. Just because you have a AV, it doesn't mean it will find it; malware can be undected when it is crypted.
