Hey guys,

 

I am almost done with a Giant spider killing bot in Stronghold of Security, and was wondering if i should make it premium or free.

 

If i should make it premium or free, how can i post the script for free or get eventually money on my bank or whatever they use to get money from it?  I've almost searched the whole forum about this and only thing what i could find was about how to get scripts on DSN and still have no idea how to get money from it or just post it in locals haha. So i hope someone who write scripts and gets maybe money from it would maybe explain me how to do it also or anyone else who does know it and would like to share it with me.

 

so in short:

     - What do i have to do to get money?

     - What do i have to do to get my scripts on the forum so other botters can use it?

 

P.S. do you guys need a good looking interface picture where you can see your exp gained etc? I hope not haha cause that's booring and dunno why it has to look good... like you going to watch your bot bot hahahaha, yea maybe in the first hours to check if it is working correctly. But yeah, is it really needed? (what i have now i just the things you want to know in red text, no fancy picture)

A1. You have to get your script onto the SDN, which can be done by talking to @Raflesia or someone on the development team (anyone with a red name). Then, if your script is a quality script/flawless, you have the option to make it premium.

A2. You can post it in local scripts (http://osbot.org/forum/forum/10-local-scripts/) or use the above information to get it put into the SDN.

I'd recommend posting it local scripts, since it's your first script (if it is).

You don't need a fancy GUI/paint, but it makes it look nicer.

Thank you very much for this usefull information I quess if admins of osbot think it should go premium they would explain how the paying thing works right?

 

Ok will do, got like 5 more scripts (firemaker(had to make it cause the one on SDN failed (thats the reason why i started scripting, along with the runecrafter that failed (probably cause of wrong outdated id's ), rangeguilder (am i allowed to bring this one out free cause there is already a paid one), Air runecrafter, cannonballsmaker (450 bars/hour), superheater(900 spells/hour), and now almost done with Giant spider killer(making gui for this so you can deside what food/pots/dba/excal/teleport or tab/ how many pots and what kind).

 

I hope it does haha, will try to put some on the forum when im @ home.

which one, cause I haven't found one yet.

Any AIO fighter can kill giant spiders, but banking is the problem.

CMH already has a stronghold script that covers ALL monsters in the stronghold. I think it is $10.

If you made a pest control script with a "Lite" version and a "Pro" version and you contacted the admins with an agreement for payments then you could bring in a lot of money yourself. Before you can just ask them, make sure your scripts are up to par with this checklist:

1. It can run 24 hours without factoring in randoms.

2. Good anti-ban.

3. Player friendly, easy to use.

4. Lots of options in the GUI to fit every players wants and needs.

5. Something original, something that isn't already on the market.

6. A fair price for it in mind.

7. Flawless overall.

If you can check everything off on this list, then you're on your way to getting on the SDN!

hey Basic!

 

Aaah i see, got my bot now to bank/kill/bank etc so my bot can do this 24/7. Just need to ad switching spots and if 3 or more players it goes hopping. And i saw this bug when i got an mystery box in my inventory it tries to solve it but when im under attack it cant and my bot just simply cant do its thing and probably dies or it must be really fast to click its tab haha but trying to fix that one by going between doors to do that event.

 

Anyway the pc bot seems good idea, need 99 def on my range tank so hmmm good idea:D  Will finish this bot first for 99 str and than will prob have pc bot in a week done most work for me will be the GUI cause never made only a GUI for my app (to control a racecar which was pretty awesome, controlling it with my mobile ) but prob not that hard with a programm i just spottet.

 

- What would be a fair price if the bot can do pc flawless and when he has 250 PCP he goes selling em for something for players choice(also the option that u can get full void and not that he get only hoot or something, and maybe even if ppl want more sets that i make option for that too. (will cover everything in the gui)?   Damm again a long story haha.  Should i post this one on forum -> requests? 

 

Also i think if i can make this giant spider bot flawless 24/7 it is the best bot in the game for training combat exp, cause everyone trains here 50k/h+ exp for rarely cheap stuff to use(food instead of pots, which is i think cheaper) and AIO wants money for a bot that doesnt bank? Damm hes lazy XD Banking only takes 15/30 minutes to code hihi (hope he doesnt read this maybe he gets offended :p)
