Take away the low CPU option and add in a No screen option. READ

Featured Replies

Ok so the current low cpu option just makes 99% of scripts fail completely or fail with in a few hours. Just take away this option and make a no screen option. This meaning it just makes it so the visual of RS is completely gone thus making the graphics card and processor work less. This will also most likely fix the script lag issues used by the low CPU option. Comment with opinions.

Support this for sure.

It would be difficult for the Devs most likely because the scripts use those graphics but still,

BTW. graphics card is not used for Old School rendering

The suggestion is one which improves the bot, it's a given that everyone is going to agree with him.

Please stop with the "Support/+1/Agree posts" they are not contributing anything at all to the thread, it's just making more pages/posts to skim though to find actual constrictive posts.

I'm not 100% if it's possible to not draw the graphics and still have the bot/scripts work properly. If feel like if it was, then it would already been an option implemented into the bot already since it's such a good/obvious way to reduce CPU.

I'm no Java/RSClient pro though :X.

I suggest instead to have an option to allow the users to choose the amount of FPS they want, this way they can put the FPS as low/high as they need for the script to still function properly themselves.

However if being able to not draw graphics and still have the bot work is viable, then you're correct.

Is this even possible? And I like my low cpu feature. Even better, add both features.

So you are telling us NOT to show our support to this idea?

I don't mean to be disrespectful or rude, if a MOD think what we are doing is spam or w/e he will remove our comments, until then... DO NOT TELL US WHAT TO DO.  We should be able to show our support towards this idea or ANY idea that we like/support. And not everyone thinks the same, so you cant be sure that everyone is going to agree with it.

This is a great idea. Simba does this very well
