Used to work when I did the following:
sudo add-apt-repository ppa:webupd8team/java
sudo apt-get update
sudo apt-get install oracle-java8-installer

Now it appears that this repo is no longer supported.

Can anyone help Please?

And also, I know there is a way to launch the Osbot.jar on the Desktop? What is the command to put into the Terminal for this again? Thx guys

Okay it works now. I had to revert to Ubuntu 16.04 and then I installed the jdk 8 headless via the terminal. Then to run it, i downloaded osbot.jar from the website and then moved it to the desktop. I run the terminal and type java -jar "OSBot.jar" [renamed it to OSBot.jar instead of leaving 2.5.83 or whatever the ending was.]

Hey, if you want to make the switch back to the latest version of ubuntu, I've just made a post with instructions just now on how to get it working.
