13 vs 10 def

from what i hear a slayer pure is 13 def not 10.  my account currently 10 def so i cant use addy glove but regan bracelet is alot better then addy gloves. what u guys thought on this. is my account ruined or should i go get 20 def. wanna pvp in future aswell.

they're 13 def from quests, they get the slayer helm since its BIS for pures. Go 20.
