Rasp pi as a proxy

Is there a way to install an app on a raspberry pi to create a vpn from a remote location? For instance, leaving it hidden in a starbucks or a friends house and connecting through it from your desktop at home.

Im not trying to use any datacenter proxies, I want to be able to create my own resi proxies using this pi

look into reverse SSH maybe that will help
