What are the limitations of being a mod and why?

Featured Replies

I see alot of mods dont really have any feedback or do anything in the market. and i saw that master chief said hes not allowed to buy gold so, what cant mods do and why?

Mods are not suppose to participate in the market, but with permission from admins they're allowed to do a transaction or two. We can buy graphics too. This is mainly because of a previous moderator who scammed a large amount of GP, and we don't want the same thing to happen in the future. People tend to trust moderators very well.

Do you get paid to be a mod? Like if i was gonna get sponsor/VIP it wouldn't be money out of my pocket id spend. It'd be money i get from services and goldfarming

Being a super moderator or a Global moderator is considered as Volunteer work. Current moderators are allowed to participate in the marketplace if they have permission from an administrator.

Global mods and super mods don't get paid. All admins get paid, although I'm not sure whether @Raflesia does or not.

Moderators don't get paid, but we do pay admins (yes, that includes Raflesia if it wasn't already clear).
