Security Error bug

Featured Replies

1. OSBot Version (do NOT put "current version", be specific)

2.5.51

2. A description of the issue. Include relevant logs.

Sometimes the client will throw an error trying to load a GUI and its a security error.

If you have your OSBOT.jar in a file and launch it then sometimes you can get a security error.

Apparently putting the osbot.jar file on your desktop is a work around this but still a bug :doge:

[ERROR][07/17 05:29:23 PM]: Uncaught exception! java.security.AccessControlException: access denied ("java.io.FilePermission" "C:\Users\Malcolm\Desktop\Bot\OSBot.jar" "read") at java.security.AccessControlContext.checkPermission(Unknown Source) at java.security.AccessController.checkPermission(Unknown Source) at java.lang.SecurityManager.checkPermission(Unknown Source) at org.osbot.UB.checkPermission(xm:152) at java.lang.SecurityManager.checkRead(Unknown Source) at java.util.zip.ZipFile.<init>(Unknown Source) at java.util.zip.ZipFile.<init>(Unknown Source) at java.util.zip.ZipFile.<init>(Unknown Source) at com.bulenkov.iconloader.util.URLUtil.openJarStream(URLUtil.java:85) at com.bulenkov.iconloader.util.URLUtil.openStream(URLUtil.java:52) at com.bulenkov.iconloader.IconLoader.loadFromUrl(IconLoader.java:93)

3. Are you receiving any errors in the client canvas or the logger?

Yes

4. How can you replicate the issue?

Loading a GUI but this doesn't always happen. Not sure if it is due to images or not.

5. Has this issue persisted through multiple versions? If so, how far back?

Yes, Not too sure how far back. It has happened on and off for a few months now
