Mac heating to quick.

Featured Replies

For or your Mac users out there why does my mac heat up so quick and how can i prevent it from heating to quick?

Thanks. :)

Not super much you can do.

You can open it up as much you can and use compressed air to clean out as much dust as you can.

You can also buy a 3rd party fan/cooling mat for your specific model and use that to keep it cooler.

^ what he said and use it less intensively when it's getting hot. If it's still under warranty get apple to sort it out for you. If it's getting too hot commonly it won't last as long as it should.

So in other words just get a cooling fan?

As named above me, clean it from dust, use low cpu mode. Get a cooling fan. xD

use low cpu mode

How the hell do i do that?

Unfortunatly, that's all you can do apart from modding your laptop which I'm pretty sure voids your warranty.
