One day ban turned into a perm ban overnight

Featured Replies

Hey there!

My 'main' account recieved a 1-day ban for Bot Busting Moderate after a day of what I assume is excessive botting (Account was on and off for 18 hours, around 3 of them were hand played). Evidence Type: Jagex Moderator Comment btw.

However, when the 1-day ban was supposed to be lifted, I logged on to see that my account has recieved a permanent ban.

Has anyone experienced a similar situation to this? Would appealing it have any chance of resulting in success?

Share your opinions/experiences please! :)

Update: Appealed the ban perm ban and it was lifted shortly after. Apparantly it was a mistake? Temp ban still on my record though.

The perm ban was probably a delayed ban from before you even received the 1 day.

RIP, better luck next time 😛

Apparently you can try to appeal it if you botted it on a proxy/different IP from creation, IMO not likely you'll get unbanned though.
