Osbot wont start, need java 8? (help)

I havent botted in a while, and recently got back into osrs. I tried opening my bot and i get the error msg 

You are currently running version 12.0.1 of Java which is unsupported, please visit the following webpage: osbot.org/forum/java

i went to the page and did what it said to do but i cant figure it out. Can someone please help me

delete ur old versions of java

Google uninstalling newer/older versions of java

Just install this and it should work. No need to uninstall (If I remember correctly)
