Ubuntu problem with altgr

Hello!

I recently got myself a vps with preinstalled unbuntu desktop + rdp. I manged to install osbot but when the client is trying to autolog-in it misses the @ in the email. 

I dont know if it is because 'Ctrl + Alt + 2' doesnt make the @ but instead I have to use Alt Gr. 


Any help would really be appreciated

I'm not sure how OSBot's typing methods can be impacted by your keyboard settings but have you tried to change your keyboard layout?

I've tried changing the keyboard layout but it still does not affect it. It still does not type the '@'

Which version of Ubuntu are you using?

I created a VM with Ubuntu 16.04 and I've had no problems with Auto-login.

You may wanna try install your OS again.

There are 2 english language options, did you try both? One of them has @ in the 2 slot, and the other has ' in place of it.

Otherwise, you can add an alternative key manually in system settings -> keyboard -> shortcuts

 I've got these english versions. Tried all of them but none of them works with the @. 

I cant seem to find the system settings  -> Keyboard
