Like that where you right click the person in the conversation and select "View profile" or "View Contact Profile". Have that open in your screenshots with the conversation history like I have in this example messaging my friend Muffins

I do want to see if what you claim is valid or not. It does seem a bit weird @309jmk has not responded to this topic.
