I just received an email from a JMOD that my account that was banned 2145 days ago is now unbanned....

I was banned in 2012 and the account was created in 2003.....

They told me in the email that yes I should stay banned, but since it has been years and "people change" they will be giving me a chance again XD... 

Has this happened recently for anyone else?

 

No but it sounds almost too good to be true hahah.

yeah I have appealed it 6 times to no avail until recently, I appealed it one last time 2 days ago and it seems that Mr. Beans was on my side LOL

Odd - they don't usually look at repeated appeals. Nice, though!

I'm currently appealing for my ironman account that actually got hijacked in 2015.

back then they didn't want to help me and told me to wait for a forum topic about hijacked accounts.

Yeah this happens for old accounts. Wouldn't happen with any 07 accounts though

I figured. Prob why they unbanned is because they want someone who left to be able to come back and hand them $$$

This will happen on any account that was banned from that long ago. Its almost a generated response. Gratz on the loot if any rares were on the account.

Oh I know that. I'm just surprised that my account actually made it into the unbanning queue, considering it has minor bans for Account Sharing, Offensive Language, RWT, and 2 Macroing Majors.
