Does anyone know whats wrong with my laptop? It used to say ~95% and not charging, but over the past few weeks its been going down. Whenever I unplug it, it turns off. I have not taken out the power cord in about 2 weeks, so it should be charging.

you might have a bad battery, usually if you unplug your laptop and use the battery until it dies then re-charge it and repeat that process a decent amount, your battery will eventually start to degrade...

you charger may not have the power to charge the laptop while running i had this problem a wile back but your problem may be different.

yeah man, i dont even have a battery in my laptop now it just goes out

if you have the batery in the computer while the plug is in, and the batery is full, you will just "Overcharge" it and it will worn out faster.. whenever you have your laptop plugged in you shold take out the batery, if you dont need to charge it

It is common problem.

Assuming your laptop is pretty old (1 to a few years+). People tend to overcharge their batteries.

It ruins your battery fairly quick up to a point where it won't even last over 10 minutes.

My advice is if you don't move your laptop a lot. Remove the battery and have your charger always plugged in.

Just once a month put it back in, empty it, recharge it. That is what I used to do to extend my battery lifespan.

Using a desktop now. They stay #1 :)
