Ban rate on essence mining? [ varrock ]

Featured Replies

hey, i use pseudominer and CMHessenceminer.

lateley ive been seeing so many poepel getting banned, i start asking myself, what are the ban rates for essence?

kind of worried i might get banned :o

and i just started playing rs again lol.

32.2% as estimated by the recent MIT study.

On a serious note, if you see a lot of people getting banned, doesn't that mean it's likely that you'll get banned too?

It'd be wiser to get the mage lvl required to enter the mage guild in yanille and just mine there.

Oh, sorry I misunderstood :).

Well, it's not really a safe activity at Varrock as it's commonly botted by gold farmers.

I'm guessing the ban rate depends on how often someone reports you or if you are unlucky enough to run into a mod. Some people mess with the gates, so those people usually get banned for standing there.
