well today after i got home from work I tried to log onto rs to set up a bot but my pass was changed, I quickly recovered it and noticed that my bank pin was going to be deleted. thats how it knew someone was on my account. The only things I download on this computer  is scrips  and the bot updates and nothing else so it very well may have been a scrip or the client. 

 

 

PS: If you are the one who did it my bank is probably worth about 1.8M If you can sell all my junk lol

You can get hacked in many ways, more than just downloading something rofl.

And what ways are those? I do nothing on that computer, I don't even check emails. I use it to run bots and thats it. I never even started to use it until about 2 weeks ago when i started playing rs, Its a crappy 2008 laptop used to run 1 bot client.

Okay no offense to you mate but I don't see the point of this thread, do you just want to tell people you're hacked? What do you need?

No just giving them a warning in case it is the bot or one of the scripts. Ill still continue to use the bot though because ive got nothing to lose anyway but just letting people know what value their things and accounts.

It's a risk you take with the osbot api. It allows scripters to steal your password a couple of ways - IE getPassword();...

 

Sorry you were hacked. Good thing you caught it.

 

Either way, make sure your firewall is up and scan your computer using reputable scanning software. Preferably run it while your computer is in safe mode.
