HTML 5 beta

RuneScape 3 isn't programmed in HTML5, they're using HTML5 as the front-end. The internals of the client are programmed with a mixture of JavaScript and WebGL most-likely. They basically converted their entire client into JavaScript.

How much easier will that be to bot/ hack ? xD

About the same. They're going to keep the Java version so there's no point in hacking/botting the HTML5 version unless it's way easier.

HTML5 and Runescape3 are 2 different things.

HTML is a markup language to program web pages in. But HTML5 got a bit more sophisticated, and easily runs video's, music, etc...

I guess jagex found a way to make their game load in HTML5. Wich is a nice job!

RS2 in evolving into RS3....

I still do not understand how can you make a game using HTML language !

lol'd hard.

And I think it looks amazing, but they're turning rs into a crappy computer nonfriendly game, the biggest reason why I play rs is because its the only fun mmorpg that i can run on every computer/laptop i've ever had (2 lol).

It looks rather exciting.

Then again, anything new that Jagex releases is shit.

lol'd hard.

Agree plus it was just a simple game and easy to play

I never liked the graphical updates, in my opinion, the 2007 graphics are better then the 2013 graphics.

Thats why I don't like the Runescape 3 graphics either, but yes, it does look nice.
