If you dont know what HTML 5 is ill explain. HTML 5 is basically "Runescape 3" JAGEX will be releasing it this Summer.

I just hope it's not laggy like runescape's "HD" was.

It's pretty laggy, but it is in beta, my friend gained access to the beta, and it looks amazing, but it loads slower atm. He said it could of been just his connection at the time.

I still do not understand how can you make a game using HTML language !

You don't. There is an html5 element called "canvas" which allows for all sorts of opportunity. I presume that jagex is using a mixture of WebGL and JavaScript  to integrate their html client.

HTML5 and Runescape3 are 2 different things.

HTML is a markup language to program web pages in. But HTML5 got a bit more sophisticated, and easily runs video's, music, etc...

I guess jagex found a way to make their game load in HTML5. Wich is a nice job!

As he said, html is just a web programing page. i still cant figure out how rs3 relates to html 5 lol

I can steal Ironhide's pictures as well good job dude.

Still looks pretty awesome. The problem is the lag's though. A guess is that it will indeed be very laggy and will absorb alot of memory usage from your internet connection. But they will eventually make it optimal though. My friend also has a beta and it takes a long time for him to load it although he has a good internet connection and has 8gigs of ram.

HTML5's canvas element is essentially the (less laggy) successor to (the horrible crap that was/is) Adobe Flash.

This looks very promising, but I don't like the EOC combat system, so Im not sure if Im going to play. I'll give it a try ofcourse, but Im an oldschool player 4 life. :D

Eh well i like the upgrading but agree with prior posts saying im not an eoc fan

It lags a lot. My buddy got beta access, and he lags too! And it's not because of his connection which is 60/30, neither his Computer which have i7, 24GB Ram, 2GB GDDR5 graphics card etc.

I guess it's just because it's in beta stage.
