RS fucked my life

Featured Replies

In my ages of play RuneScape I say sadly that its helped me alot but I wish that I never started with stupid video games that got me nothing more then addicted to them. Oh well now when I want to legit RuneScape I just play or make a RSPS since RS3 is ridiculous and I'm easily bored of 07. So I'm neutral for RuneScape being a life waste, Have to understand Video games in general are a life waste.

If you let it "ruin your life", it will. You just have to know when to separate between the 2 different "lives".

In my case, I've met some amazing people and gained amazing skills through Runescape over the years.

Yeah, online friends. Lawl.

@Lee, that is very stereotypical. @Rich, FINALLY someone who can relate to me lol. @Puzzlez , ^

Just don't let it take over your social life etc. That's why there is this thing called a bot.

I babysit my bot more than I let it free on it's own LOL. It's just I want to have fun but there is no fun anymore. :(

PEOPLE POST YOUR STORIES/OPINIONS PLEASE :D .

Reevaluate what you are doing and see if its working towards your goals. Quit if it serves no other purpose but to waste time.

RS didn't ruin your life you did by choosing to stay and play instead of going to the park or cinema with ur friends

runescape takes a lot of my time as well...i need to change

There was a point in my life when this was me. I'd literally go through each and every school day waiting to get home and play rs. Lucky for me though, I just sort of moved away from that, without any real effort on my part. At some point you just realize rs is a shitty game and that all of your time invested into it means absolutely nothing. It's not even particularly entertaining, outside of being something mindless to do when you're bored (although pking is nice in 07).

What did it for me is trying out other games. After playing a lot of different stuff, I just realized how lack-luster rs is and started quitting for months at a time until I was bored and played again for a week or two, only to quit for months. Also, having a girlfriend helps, as I no longer have the money to spend on videogames even if I wanted to. LOL.

I have quit Runescape many years ago. I stay on community for fun. I am trying to become trusted for the first time ever.

When I started in 2005, I guess it over took my life in a sense of not being as social, and prioritizing things around it. Now, I CBA with it, and I just bot for the lols, and see if I can make anything from it.

I have also learned all my English from RS, I have been very addicted too indeed.
