RS fucked my life

Featured Replies

I feel like Runescape has really messed up my life. I feel like i'm Heliophobic or some shit LOL. (I'm not) I have a lot of potential to grow but Runescape has stopped my potential and has turned me into a bitch sitting in his parents' basement. If someone feels similar or different to how I feel, please let me know, I am VERY eager to know seriously.

If you let it "ruin your life", it will. You just have to know when to separate between the 2 different "lives".

In my case, I've met some amazing people and gained amazing skills through Runescape over the years.

That is a very general answer which I can say NO to because I just can't. I'm like addicted to Runescape like being addicted to tobacco.

EDIT: This answer is meant towards Dragon.

I think many people on Runescape have never goldfarmed and never even heard about it. I myself, have NEVER heard of goldfarming nor how it is done. Since I joined Osbot, I feel like i've learned a lot of new skills.

Seeing as we're on a botting site, I doubt a lot of us actually sit "playing" RS for aslong as you first described.

But yeah, RS is a very addicting game when you do play legit, try and bot more get some fresh air man!!

Well, Since I am Dutch, I learned pretty much all my English from it. Also a bit of school ofc, but mostly the basics from RS. Also met people, and had great times, But ofcourse, Rs3 and EoC ruined that.

That's why bots exist, they do the work for you so that you don't have to spend COUNTLESS hours on doing the same crap over and over again. Control you're life it is you who creates you're own path. If you choose to sit and play runescape that is your choice the only person bringing you down is yourself. Try to set a limit to your playing, personally I can control what I do and when I do it. If i play, yes I can do it for hour because I enjoy it. But I choose to not, because I understand the negatives of doing so. Spend time with friends, family, and loved ones. Try to participate in other activities to occupy you're time. For a really deep psychology lesson watch "The Secret". I hope that helped a bit :)!

I feel like I started Runescape because it was really FUN. Now, I feel like botting really does take away the fun from the game. I literally haven't done a 99 party since like 5-6 years LOL.

^^

There are a lot of people that bot, but there are also many, many others that do play legit. Put yourself amongst them who play legit, get to know people do events ingame with people, chat with your RS mates on skype whilst in-game, just make it fun.

Botting a 99 feels just as satisfying to me as playing hours upon hours and getting the 99.

Man, I remember the fun times where I literally used to stay at Clan Wars countless hours just afk'ing, chatting, warring, ffa, red portal. All those times are gone, maybe Clan Wars in 07scape will bring those times back.

I must say, I learned 99% english from RS, I play it for over half of my life I must say.

I'm starting my goldfarm 2nd time, and it'll make my life even better, aiming at 300m [600$] monthly for start.

Rs3 and EoC ruined that.

And that was the end of that story, Thats all for now kids and remember to tune in next year when Fagex fuck up more.

Satan, that's awesome that your making something of your Runescape life. Tbh, I would love being able to play a game AND earn a living from it. @whistony, this year, GWD, next year, Grand Exchange :D .

I'm not addicted. In fact, I get bored easily by it. It's just such a WORN game now. It's been going for 12 years or so and it's just not the same as 6 years ago.

I'm more into Private Servers as PKing is easier on them and they are generally better managed.
