Click the plus symbol to open a tab.

Please show a picture of the screen so I can help you. Also have you actually clicked on the tab itself? Sometimes it doesn't automatically open. Sort of like a browser.

Do you see any errors in the log?

If so, please post them. 

Make sure your internet is connected. Make sure you have 7u25 Java or whatever the newest one is.
