I plan on buying a dedicated server which could run 40-50 bots (no webwalking simple interaction script e.g. woodcutting script), however my question is which CPU would allow me to reach that without bottle necking. If you are currently using one that gets close to that could you please post the CPU that you are using. Thanks in advance.

You will need a dual chip server, 10 cores run max 33 bots. so youll more likely need 12

bigger concern should be ram, you will need 64GB most likely.

Realistically it is economically smarter to buy multiple servers to run 40, for instance, it costs $32 to have a server that can run 30. You can buy 2 servers for probably the same price it would cost you to have a dedi.

problem with that is all the bots need to be on one server as I'm using TCP clients.

no they're osbot its just the clients communicate with each other via TCP so they all have to be on the same server

You can have a TCP communication to a centralized server i.e. a database that could be your "Controller". I recommend this so you can easily expand your farm and aren't  restricted to a single server. If you absolutely must have them all on one server, Then I recommend buying your own physical server, you will get more total bots than any kind of consumer dedi.
