Have heard some hype about proxies using residential IPs being better than regular ones, anyone here think it makes a big difference?

the only cool thing about proxies is that you have better chances of recovering the account when it gets banned, after that... i think they are all the same

I haven't noticed any real difference. As long as they aren't re used proxies like some seem to sell.

Most residential proxies are not better than data center ones. Residential proxies are usually infected computers so they come up and down very sporadically. The residential proxies which aren't from illegal means are usually in random countries like Vietnam or Congo and have piss poor speeds.

Residential ips really only affect tutorial island farms, even then, I have only had an issue with an IP twice. Other than this, theres really no need to get residential, its definitely one of the biggest memes of runescape botting in my opinion.
