Set-up:

Updating:

  • Right-click inside the folder or on it and click SVN Update
  • If there are any errors in the SVN Update window, try deleting the scripts and updating again

Setup for script installation will be a one time affair, and you will be ready to download and keep all of my scripts updated in the future.

I will be releasing more scripts in the future, and intend to release the source for all of them. All of my scripts will be free of charge, but I will include a donation link for those inclined to support me and the time I take to maintain and produce scripts. No one is required to donate, and I encourage everyone to use my scripts for free and make good use of the source code. My main goal is to provide highly stable, simple setup, low maintenance, feature rich scripts to the community for free, and to hopefully contribute to the growth of other scripts through collaborative thinking and source sharing.

I will provide as much support for my scripts as I can, the best way to inform me about bugs will be in the threads for each script here on OSBot. Because I am not charging anyone for any of my projects, I expect people to have patience in regards to maintaining these scripts and to be respectful about how you ask for issues to be resolved. If you decide to donate, you can expect to see your name in the Contributors panel in my scripts, and thank you in advance for your support!

This is a very early version, but it is already very stable. There are a few minor fixes and additions to make. I will be adding to and fixing the statistics panel. If anyone has something specific they want to see and I think it makes sense I will add it. Enjoy! :)

This is so hard to download ....

This is so hard to download ....

But so easy to update! smile.png

Also, it's easier to download if you already have TortoiseSVN, That is the only annoying part for first time users. If you have any problems, let me know!

Tested on several different machines already without issues. Make sure the installation file path is correct. If there's still a problem, post the log report and I will explain how to resolve it. Thanks! :)

Are you sure? As far as I know there is no reason this wouldn't work on mac. You can refer to this thread to see that another mac user was recommended to use .groovy, .class, or .jar files.

I suspect that it may be due to the folder structure as other users seem to have this problem very commonly. Double check that the directory structure is exactly as it appears in the instructions from the first post. Thanks and let me know if it's still a problem! :)

Hi there! I've downloaded this using the SVN checkout, and my client doesn't recognise that the script is in here... Any help?

I've done it word for word - I've used SVN updates before, but not sure why it ain't working :s

No problem, just post a copy of the log report where it shows what the error is that you are getting and I will let you know what we can do to resolve it.

I suspect it may still be the file path, so please ensure it is:

osbot/scripts/fireBot

osbot/scripts/plankAny

osbot/scripts/fishAny

etc.

ok three things:

1st - thanks for the awesome script, I know it's great, if only I could use it...

Leads me to number 2 - I've got the folders installed correctly, about 5 folders of your different scripts within my scripts folder, so file path is correct.

When I go to run the script, I select oak logs and click start and the GUI doesn't go anywhere and all that happens is I receive the message

" DEBUG:Set plank type: Oak" in the command line of my OSbot client. I could spam click the GUI start button and all that happens is my command line becomes filled with the above message, over and over again.

Edit: so just to be clear, the GUI stays up after I click start, and the script is running but not doing anything, only idling.

3rd - just to help others install the script...if one follows your directions literally and does not do anything else, a folder called "fir3 scripts" is created in the "scripts" folder; this "fir3 scripts" folder contains the other 5 folders for your scripts...I think this is where everyone is having trouble with installation.

All I had to do was cut-paste the 5 folders directly into the scripts folder and they *theoretically* worked, except I'm having trouble with that problem stated above.

Let me know what you think about this problem/how i can fix it, or if it's on your side of things. I'm going to keep playing around with it and see what happens
