Does jagex release names from accs that got banned for botting?

Featured Replies

I know they dont release names when the acc got banned for RWT/scamming but what about botting?

also do f2p accs appear on osrs highscores?

They do. I changed my current account's name to one name I had in the past which is banned for botting.

it takes ages

Yeah they do but usually takes a while, think its around 6 months without the owner logging in to the account via the website before they release it.

Login to website if it's your account? Will either be the username or like #235juio5hjio34ji34

It takes a long time before they release names. They released names from banned accounts a while ago, thats how i got myself a nice rare name. But dont hope they do in the near future again i think.
