I see people getting 2 days ban, next ban is perm. but on 1 of my accounts got a 2 day ban 14 months ago, now it got banned for macroing again. another 2 days. but the last year macroing infraction expired. but i also see other people get 2 infractions for macrong all within 2-4 months. anyone with any insight?

I think the way it works is non-members get perma banned if they're caught, members get a 2 day bot busting ban which is removed after 1 year. If you're caught bitting during that year its a perma ban though

this is somewhat true but if you're p2p and farming gold you're almost always going to still get perm banned. never seen a f2p acc get a 2 day and also never seen a gold farm acc get a 2 day
