I'm on mac if that makes a difference, I try to delete them from the folder but when I go back tothe client and refresh they are still there

Not quite sure if you tried this guide (it's for how to add them but might as well work for how to delete them)

I am not comfortable with MAC but @Master Chief is!

Close your client, delete the scripts, then open it again. Does it still appear?
