The only factor effecting gold price is supply and demand, so unless a massive influx of players return and purchase gold (big potential because of case sites, more user friendly orientated sites) we will not be seeing almost any change.

Prices in December are always odd because everyone knows that it's the holiday season and nobody gives a single shit about banning bots, there is usually a good week or two of suicide botting and every year more and more people are taking advantage of it, I wouldn't be surprised if we see an all time low.

There most likely won't be any difference in correlation with this specific factor.
