So i have unconfirmed funds in my wallet which will be confirmed soon however i am looking to using my coins for a transaction.
If i make a transaction now will it wait to confirm until funds that i received earlier are confirmed or what happens in that case?

Are you talking about confirmations? 

The transaction will be broadcast, but will remain unconfirmed until its included in a block. The transaction will not be included into a block until all inputs have at least 1 confirmation. So, if you have 1 input and 1 output, the output will be confirmed sometime after the input is confirmed.
