When the new update comes

Hey guys. I couldnt find this anywhere, so here it goes:

When the new update is live, in like 10-15 minutes, do I have to wait using the bot? Does it need an update, and download again after? Or can I directly bot when the new update is live?

Most times the bot won't be broken, but occasionally it needs an update that usually will be done within hours of the update

So if it isnt broken, am I at risk when botting? Ofc because of botting. But I mean because of the update in RS
