proxies not working

Featured Replies

When trying to connect my proxy with the osbot client, when i press launch it freezes. they are SOCKS proxies and i have an IPv6 adress which cannot be used for authentication. how do i connect to osbot client?

if your proxy provider requires IP authentication and does't support IPv6 then there's not much you can do apart trying to run your system on IPv4. Well my guess at least

You probably need to check if they are in fact working.

Or use an ipv4 address

Or get the proxy authenticated with user:pass

Can you try loading without the proxy?
If it works, means it's not a client issue. So you might want to check if your proxy works in the first place.

weird.. Client loads fine without proxy and the proxy works on browser. Thanks for taking the time helping me, do you know any other (cheap) way to have a fresh ip running on 2-3 accounts?

Using a vpn might get you a new ip instead of your home ip. However, the ip that the vpn provides may be used by other botters.

it might also be because I'm using a mac (yeah i know all i have atm)

Because why would the client freeze and not give some kind of error. Does this normally happen when entering a proxy that doesnt work?

I wouldnt be able to check if the proxy does work on windows so im kinda fucked eitherway. And idk about a vpn i feel like i'd get banned really quickly

I don't have a mac, so I can't comment on that.

And yes, if the proxy does not work. The client will not load.
