I don't know, apparently my custom css was somehow breaking the forums to an unusable state?

p.s Zach didnt even have to make the chatbox, he made it because he wanted the community to have something not just move over to some alternative that people would probably dislike i.e forcing users to go on discord for example

Well, he was kind of forced to do that. People were always in the chat box beforehand and didn't post as much due to that. If he didn't make a new one then people would go to discord and wouldn't be online on the forums.

I don't know about the behind the scenes stuff but it was pretty nice from my point of view.
