Sorry But, I Need Help With The Scripts...

Featured Replies

Problem: I've read every single thread that explains the process to properly save scripts, re-done every step, and still doesn't work.

My groovy files are not .txt files, I've renamed them .groovy after making sure I'm deleting the extension correctly. When I look under my groovy file properties, it is described as being a GROOVY file. So I know the file is in the correct format.

The files are under "Scripts" in "OSBot". (C:UsersMyNameOSBotscripts).

I've given them the proper names like Maxi's example chopper: DraynorChopperPro.groovy

I run the client, log in, add account, new tab, hit on the green arrow, and reload scripts. I still can't see them.

What else could be the problem?

Thank You in advance for any help!

Sounds like you've done everything perfect. My only thought is your computer hates you and doesn't want you to bot. lol

i had the same problem, all i did was delete everything then re-add it and that worked for me

hmm, sounds like you did everything correctly, My only suggestion is to check if your file has a @ScriptManifest at the top.

I deleted all my OSBot files and re-downloaded. Now a message saying that OSBot is outdated appears..? lol

Just to check, when you download OSBot, I get 2 files in my "Downloads" folder, (1.2.2.jar), and a OSBot 1.2.2.zip. Right?

After extracting the ".zip" using 7-zip, I get 1 more folder under "Downloads" called "osbot 1.2.2" which contains random folders.

There is another folder in my user folder with 2 folders inside, "data" and "scripts".

I should not be doing any modifications to any of these files except for "scripts" right?

Thanks to everybody who replied!

the outdated error message was a fluke. it should be back up now. is your java updated properly?

Yes, osbot is now working, but still no sign for scripts.

There is a client.jar inside "data" from the OSBot folder. Anything to do with that?

I'm using a past java version, Java 6 update 48, I think. If download the latest Java 7 an error of a missing "client.class" appears every time I want to play Runescape. From any client or even from the main site. But I hardly doubt it has anything to do with the scripts not appearing.

Any more suggestions? Thank you

UPDATE: After downloading OSBot in my friends computer and doing exactly the same things I did in mine, I've concluded that my computer is just against me. Since it worked perfectly for him, but not for me.

I noticed after rebooting OSBot his accounts and loggin username were saved, something that doesn't happen to me. I think it has to do with the error I'm experiencing, why do you think it would be like this?
