You're putting your main at risk, but it's unlikely that it'll receive a ban unless you're running multiple bots on the same ip

    I've done it plenty of times, never experienced any issues BUT in undoubtedly carries a very minimal risk - but if you want to take the risk its up to you. I do.

    I have a botfarm and my legit main account i play while botfarming all on the same ips.

     

    the accounts i bot always end up banned, main never gets banned.

    I always do that without problem. If you have dynamic IP though it wouldn't hurt to get a new IP if your alt gets banned :)
