VPNs

Featured Replies

Hi all, i hope to start a mini-farm but the question at hand is, i have no idea how to use a VPN, is it hard?

Are the free ones worth using or must i get a premium one? If people could please just give me a brief understanding of how to use one and the cons if there are any, can i toggle it off if i want? And i presume a VPN will only get one account banned and not all the accs? As well as this, please feel free to suggest me some VPNs as i'm unaware of any, thank you so much!

To start off. I am not sure if you know what exactly that you want as newbies are often confused with VPN or VPS.

Since you want to know about VPN, here's a link to knowing more about VPN. http://www.pcadvisor.co.uk/how-to/internet/how-use-vpn-set-up-vpn-for-private-browsing-2017-3466190/

If you must, it is better choice to go for a premium service as the ip you get may be less used compared to a free service(got to find out). And yes, you are able to toggle on and off.

While you are botting, you risk chain ban (all accounts banned).

By the looks of it, it would be a wise choice to purchase a proxy instead.

If its a small farm, i would use dedicated proxies - vary from $1.50 to $3.50 depending on where you go. The amount of acc's you use per proxy is up to you. Some people use 1 acc per proxy and others 10 as they dont believe chain bans exist as jagex dont look at IP on first detection. i would try it out yourself. First proxy have one acc, second proxy use 3accs and dump the rest of the accounts on the third proxy and see if there is a difference with ban rates.

Good luck

Proxyfish.com provides great socks5 proxies that I use. Plus, he also knows Runescape, so will help you with setting them up (eventhough it is easy).

I personally am not the greatest fan of proxyfish especially with how exspensive they are. Just look around and i would say dont go with ones that are associated with rs and osbot. They are normally overpriced

tunnelbear is a great VPN service that you can get, its also promoted by Linus Tech Tips :D
