Alterego101
I'm just going to talk about the first one. You have lighting on the render for no reason, it was too bright. I would say this about all of your signature, but that's just too much text. Basically, you have no light source. So everything looks 100% fake. The idea of the light render was to blend it. If it stood out too much then it would look out of place. I admit, I could've done a better job. It looked a lot better in my head compared to when I had finally finished it. My Graphic Design skills do not quite stretch to the ability in my head. ;) It is meant to look cartoony, to match the render. The light source is behind the render/that general area. The darker side on the left is meant to be hidden from the light, so as to invoke a sense of curiosity (which is what I tried to do with the render(get it to "peek around a corner")). Text could've been better too. Thank you nonetheless. I don't really see much flow on either picture. First one is kinda just.. a render layered ontop of a background, the second one is just way too much c4d and like another user said, you don't really have any lighting at all. Your first picture also looks really LQ. Goodluck though. Elaborate about the flow please. And no, it's far from it. For starters, I made the background on the first one and that took a LONG time. I do have lighting - it might not be obvious, though. Also, he wasn't referring to the second signature. He was talking about the first. The C4D signature is a style I like to use, and I took a little of the C4D idea from a tutorial on a GFX forum. My first C4D signature was this one: Thank you for your criticism as well. They look very sexy! Thank you!

I don't know why, but everything I wrote down didn't get saved. Instead of wasting that much time again, I'll only suggest you try to blend the C4D with the characters instead of making it look as if there was a render with C4D pasted around it. Goodluck! Basic
You should take a peek at my tutorials, they'll help you a lot! When I meant it was unrealistic, I didn't mean I wanted it to have actual pieces of life inside your signature to make it look like you were looking out your window. I meant you should've made your lightsource and atmo realistic. You have no light source, which makes it look stale.

My lighting is fine on most of my signatures, however this one I KNOW wasn't great and I admit that the lighting itself is bad.

In all of the pictures you've posted in here... You do infact need to look at some tutorials.
