This is the second script I've written, not new to programming though.

I'm writing a script that strings yew or magic longbows at the GE, when it runs out it sells the bows it's made and uses all that cash to buy more supplies and so on.

Done:

• Stringing bows inc banking
• Buying and selling materials
• Pre-hovering bank counter
• Basic anti-pattern / randomisation
• Basic paint
• GUI
• Better paint
• Requesting prices from osbuddy exchange

To do:

• Fix some small flaws
• Figure out a good way to keep active while waiting for buy/sell offers
• Better anti-pattern / randomisation
• Better paint
• Requesting prices from osbuddy exchange
• GUI

you should just keep stringing bows while you wait for more? maybe put in an offer when you hit a certain amount instead of when you run out.

there is no such thing as antiban. if you make your script well enough then you won't get banned. randomize things that a human might do out of random (this does not mean to randomize everything possible) try recording yourself playing for an hour if you need more ideas for how to look more human. stay away from unconditional sleeps.

Yeah I was thinking about that, slightly harder to implement than just sitting there but would definitely be better. I'll have to have a think.

And yeah that's what I meant by anti-ban, isn't that what anti-ban means anyway?

I have no idea what the other scripters are calling it nowadays but once upon a time alek made it clear that an "antiban" meant that you were guaranteeing people that they won't get banned

No scripter really claimed it, but someone that is new to botting might see antiban and think "omg I won't get banned using this one" when they will most likely get banned.

i'm pretty sure most people call it "anti-pattern" or something along those lines. i haven't looked at the sdn or script section of the forums in ages so i wouldn't really know

If you call it anti-pattern and I go through and see 2001 anti-ban methods I'm going to personally delete you from these forums
