I'd probably have to edit an enormous amount of code, so probably not :/

It's not terrible. It's not great, but it's not terrible.

And yes, yes you would have to edit a lot of IPB (shitty) code to make the changes you'd want to make.

It's more terrible than you think. I'd have to re-write the right hand div to not extend past the last forum container, then expand the bottom "whos online/members chatting" container. Otherwise the two containers would overlap. It's also not some super simple thing because there is a lot of stuff that's integrated, blocks, pages, etc.

I haven't had much experience with IPB, in terms of coding (I have no need to buy the software or to get a nulled copy). However, I have gone through the file system to modify a forum for a friend. And I have to say, IPB is the worst organized / coded system I have seen to date. Absolutely terrible.

Honestly, I like the new forum look. Makes everything look more modern. I'm glad to see the forum advancing with the time. There are a lot of other forums which have stuck to the same format for years which is not bad, but the look and feel definitely gets old. I'm sure this new forum update will allow for new changes to take place that couldn't before and will hopefully help the community in a large way after a bit of time.
