They are allowed.. Just not allowed to privately sell

Well no one is going to make a private script for someone for free, kind of defeats the purpose of being a scripter.

And people would complain here rather than directly to the scripter.

Which means you are allowed to ask money for it, you're not allowed to sell/promote it on the forums outside of the SDN. A payment for a private script (for one person) could be considered a donation. When you plan on actually selling the script it's more categorized under payment, as you're requesting people money for the script. Nonetheless I think this rule should get a better description.

 Well thats kind of greedy. Its a stupid rule, and Tri allows it, but I would rather have the script for Os.

Yeah I agree, it seems really easy to get around. Like I could make a topic looking for a scripter and just donate him money to develop it and I wouldnt be breaking the rules.
