PC vs. Mac Debate

Featured Replies

Earlier in the chat, a few people were discussing PC vs. Mac so I decided to make a thread about it.

Post your preference and why you think it's superior to the other.

I'll start it off with this image.

Macs cost too much, pc's are cheap and even cheaper if you customize / make your own.

And btw why would you pay for the same specs computers when you can get a pc 6000 cheaper and with that extra money you can upgrade to better features specs and a anti virus.

Mac does cost alot but some people care about looks/features then speed and performence.

Your are completely and utterly wrong about this. Sir. It's astonishing and perhaps a little Baffling to see that you are even comparing Windows Computers to Macintosh. Absolutely astonishing. Macintosh > Windows. Debate Closed. Sir.

Then those people are idiots because they will get bored of the look of a mac and realize how shit it is.

The point of a debate is so we can openly discuss the topic at hand, rather than not providing any evidence and calling it a "closed debate".

I will disregard what is said in this post unless proper evidence is raised.

Lol are you high? Yeah I have a Macbook Pro and all....but thats just for school/work and stuff. Dude for gaming PC > Mac BY FAR. Macs look nice and all, but they are way overpriced. Lol gl running like 20 bots on a mac that doesn't cost $10000. Debate Closed. Sir

although i am a windows users almost for the only reason that it is more than 50% cheaper to get the exact same hardware. I will admit that apple computers are very nice and i would love to buy one but not for the $999 base model ( i was looking at the mac book airs as they are thin have a pci ssd and a 4th gen intel chip) when i wanted to max out said mac book air it would have costed me about $1800 more than double what my budget was. I found a nice HP laptop that is a bit bigger in screen size and thickness but it can double as a nice gaming machine and only for $800.

Irrelevant to ask for any evidence than to simply go to your nearest Best Buy. Try out one for yourself. Sir.

I've already tried them, the high school I attended was all Macintosh. My argument for PC still stands.

Yeah, I will admit that the Apple laptops do look sleek in design but really are quite costly. I'd do the exact same thing you did, not pay twice as much for that sleek metallic look.

Your representation of a mac with those specs is inaccurate. lol

Oh, then please correct me if you feel something is wrong with that picture (not originally mine). If time allows today/tomorrow, I will pull specs myself and create a new picture of comparison.

PC's, simply because I've never owned a mac. I've always stuck with PC because it's just what I've used in the past.
