October 16, 20169 yr How do you know that someone with a verified paypal won't scam you? Also, how do you check if someone really does have a verified paypal?
October 16, 20169 yr Author 1) You dont, they can chargeback either way 2) No idea tbh 1) You dont know 2) You can see only when you receive money ^ this so you can still likely be scammed even if a person has a verified paypal? is there no way to combat this? October 16, 20169 yr Author if you ever get scammed, simply chargeback yeah thats what im worried about - chargebacks. i'd be accepting payment via paypal in this instance and dont want to go through the trouble of chargeback scamming Well, paypal really isn't something i use much, but I see a few people asking for ID's, no idea what they do with them though is there anything i could use that doesnt give the possibility of chargeback scamming?

I dont think so, no. Thats the problem with paypal, just too easy to chargeback.

October 16, 20169 yr so you can still likely be scammed even if a person has a verified paypal? is there no way to combat this? After they pay u ask them to forward you the receipt from their's Paypal email address to urs so u would have proof to chargeback later. And let them go first and type in description "I paid for something which i already received" Edited October 16, 20169 yr by progamerz
