How much for a beer?

Featured Replies

Most of us Brits seem to rate another place based on 1 thing and 1 thing alone. How much for a pint? Doesn't matter if a 1st class flight and a hotel for 2 weeks costs £600, if it's £4 a beer, chances are we aren't going..

Where are you in the world, and how much is a beer? (go for Bud or Miller, I think they're the easiest to find!)

I'm N/E Scotland, expect to pay £2.50 ($4?) a bottle in a pub, or £8 for 12 in a shop

really depends where you are... there are some bars specially made for students, where its €0.50 a beer, pretty insane. at parties and clubs it's mostly €2,00-€2,30 a beer

Same here in Belgium...

here is £3.30 for a bottle of bud

£2.80 - £3.50 for a pint of draft

Usually go for the £2.35 Carlsberg, £3.00 San Miguel if I want to treat myself. I have been out in centre London where it was verging on £5 a pint where I almost said 'Nah you're alright mate' after he poured it.

in Canada its around $7 a bottle and $5.50 a pint at a local pub, but i never pay so I wouldnt know for certain :P
