Kenneh Posted August 2, 2013 Posted August 2, 2013 It probably doesn't mean much now, but I had some spare time so yea.https://github.com/kennehisftw/rsloaderconstructive feedback is welcome 1
Mr Asshole Posted August 2, 2013 Posted August 2, 2013 Good job, but what's the point when there's a sdn?
Kenneh Posted August 2, 2013 Author Posted August 2, 2013 Good job, but what's the point when there's a sdn? I think you missed the point entirely. This is simply a loader that lets you select between RS3 and oldschool runescape. It's not a bot, it's just a client loader.
Neodork Posted August 2, 2013 Posted August 2, 2013 As I was about to say, this has nothing to do with scripts or the SDN. So please if you're not willing to look into his source try not to respond to the thread. It looked rather nice to me, but then again I have 0 experience maintaining loaders.
EmperorsChampion Posted August 2, 2013 Posted August 2, 2013 Well done. no good me looking at it into do not know code yet...
Kenneh Posted August 2, 2013 Author Posted August 2, 2013 As seen on p****bot. Uh, well yeah. I'm kind of the same person? lol. 4
User Posted August 3, 2013 Posted August 3, 2013 As seen on p****bot. More like "as seen in multiple tutorials in 2008". Really OP, you should transform this into something useful, like a toolkit. The code itself is rather novice-ish, so it should be a good challenge for you... The toolkit widgets would of course be standalone... I'm getting a bit ahead of myself here, but you could eventually bridge information dynamically obtained from the client to extent the capabilities of said widgets, and eventually transmute it into a macro.... Maybe make that a (very) long-term goal? There will be plenty of rewrites inbetween lol. TL;DR - Make into toolkit.

I just wanted something to play on and not worry about advertisments in the client ( I don't have members )

Seems pretty pointless to me. There are quite a few alternatives in which would have allowed you to play the game without advertisements, in which would have required much less time... Like just downloading one of the other thousands of OSRS loaders floating around the web?
Swift Posted August 3, 2013 Posted August 3, 2013 (edited) The packaging is a little weird. And as Rawr said the final modifier should be used. Edited August 3, 2013 by Swift
